Back in high school I was little confused when I was a Francophile (interested
in all things French, but you knew that). In college, I got hooked on British
comedies, namely Monty Python; Yes, Minister and Blackadder. And that lead me on the path to all things British (anglophile). Right out of college, I lived in London for six-months. During that time, Margaret Thatcher was dethroned as PM and the Gulf War I started & ended. Some say I was responsible, some say I was avoiding the draft, some say I was working for my “Uncle Sam.” I’ll let you decide. Years later, I returned to London (1998) and saw a Freelander near Hyde Park Sq. I’ve been following them ever since. I took delivery of my Alveston Red SE on Dec. 14, 2002.
